Firefighters responded to an 11-alarm fire in downtown Malvern, Iowa Monday night.
The town’s grocery store caught fire around 6 p.m.
The emergency manager in Mills County said crews from 11 departments helped keep the flames from spreading to neighboring businesses.
The emergency managers also said everyone escaped unharmed.
It’s unclear how the fire started.
