The city is hosting a Bastille Day celebration in honor of its sister-city Neuilly-Plaisance, France.
The event will be held Saturday, July 16 from 4-11 p.m. in historic downtown Montgomery.
The party will include two stages featuring bands: Sycamore Community Band, Ricky Nye Inc., and the Cincinnati Dancing Pigs Jug Band.
Event headliners will be Hotel California, The Original Eagles Tribute Band, and The Mistics.
Free food from vendors such as Montgomery Inn and Graeter’s Ice Cream will also be served.
France Bastille Day is the country’s “national” day celebration. It is celebrated on July 14.
The day is marked with fireworks and military parades. The day honors the fall of the Bastille in 1789.
