With significant snowfall and inclement weather headed for the Jackson area, schools across Jackson County began making the call early to cancel classes for Thursday, Feb. 17.
At least six inches of snow anticipated for the Jackson area over the next day, while some areas of the lower Michigan could see up to nine inches of snow Thursday.
