“The Bachelorette” is back for its 20th season this month starring Charity Lawson, a child and family therapist from Columbus, Georgia.
The 27-year-old was introduced to “Bachelor” fans with her appearance in Season 27, which saw Zach Shallcross get engaged to Kaity Biggar.
This season, 25 men will vie for Lawson’s heart, ranging from 24 to 32 years old with jobs including professional wrestler, yacht captain and attorney.
ABC has yet to release the official schedule. However, based on previous seasons, we can likely expect 11-12 episodes, including a “Hometown” and “Fantasy Suite” episode.
Here’s what to know about the premiere of Season 20.
What is Caleb Balgaard’s wrestling name: Who is Kale Dixon?
You won’t find Caleb Balgaard on the WWE roster not because he’s not an employee with WWE, but rather because Caleb wrestles under the name Kale Dixon. This isn’t uncommon for professional wrestlers as many wrestle under stage names which is the case for Caleb.
Kale Dixon is the persona Caleb Balgaard competes under within the WWE. Caleb was signed to the company in 2022 and has been wrestling as part of its NXT banner, which is designed for up-and-coming talent. While he’s not yet made his television debut on NXT, Caleb has competed in a number of NXT live events and has appeared on the weekly Peacock original series NXT Level Up.
Prior to signing with the WWE, Balgaard was a college baseball player at the University of South Alabama who transitioned from baseball to wrestling following his graduation. While Kale Dixon has not yet had his big WWE break, his upcoming time on The Bachelorette might be the catalyst he needs to finally make it to the big leagues in the company!
Who is the next bachelorette, Charity Lawson?
Charity is a child and family therapist from Columbus, Georgia, with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Auburn University. Bachelor Nation was introduced to her earlier this year on Zach Shallcross’ season of “The Bachelor.”
According to ABC, Charity “is searching for a life partner who loves dogs, thrifting and a good tailgate; but, above all else, is honest, empathetic and values her for who she is.”
ABC’s press release continues: “With parents who have been married over 47 years, Lawson has been instilled with the confidence of knowing what she deserves and is eager to find a lasting love matching their example.”
She also told host Jennifer Hudson about what she was looking for in a husband. “There are a few traits I definitely know that I need after going through past relationships,” she said. “I need someone who is confident and is sure of what they want, so we’re not playing games. I want someone who is funny. A sense of humor is really important. And I want someone who is authentic. I want someone who is themselves and they don’t feel a need to put on a façade. I want the true, real you. Those are the top three things, I think!”
The Bachelorette 2023 Spoiler: Where Charity’s season was filmed
The Bachelorette Season 20 filmed Episodes 1 to 3 at the Bachelor Mansion in Los Angeles, California. Episode 4 was filmed in the Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington area. Episode 5 was filmed in New Orleans, Louisiana. Episode 6 was Hometown Dates. Charity filmed four Hometown Dates in Euclid, Ohio; Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; Katy, Texas; and Fresno, California. People reported in April 2023 that Charity filmed The Bachelorette Season 20 finale in Fiji and shared photos from the episode, which is the first time ABC has revealed the finale location before The Bachelor or The Bachelorette even premiered. Read on for The Bachelorette Season 20’s confirmed filming locations, according to Reality Steve.
Who does Charity pick on The Bachelorette: Who won the Bachelorette 2023?
The Bachelorette season 20 winner has not yet been revealed as the season only just began on June 26, 2023. That said, spoilers have broken down who will be making it to the final four of the season which means we can narrow down the field of suitors to four possible winners: Xavier Bonner, Joey Graziadei, Aaron Bryant, and Dotun Olubeko.
Longtime Bachelor Nation scooper Reality Steve has not yet been able to confirm who makes it to the final two or who Charity ends up with, but all signs point toward her ending up with Xavier, Joey, Aaron, or Dotun which makes sense given that the four all caught her eye on night one with sparks flying between Charity and the four men reported to make it to the final four in the season.
