There are just a few days left for you to score tickets to one of the biggest comedy shows of the summer.
“Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson and comedian powerhouse Jon Stewart are set to host “NYC Still Rising After 20 Years: A Comedy Celebration” on Sunday, Sept. 12, at Madison Square Garden.
All proceeds from the show will benefit 9/11 charities.
Davidson, a Staten Island native whose firefighter father was killed on 9/11, frequently raises money for charitable causes, including a show at the St. George Theatre in 2019 that benefited FDNY families and one in 2020 which helped victims of COVID-19.
Davidson will be joined by fellow Staten Islander Colin Jost and a slew of other famous comedians: Amy Schumer, Bill Burr, Colin Quinn, Dave Attell, Dave Chappelle, Jay Pharoah, Jimmy Fallon, John Mulaney, Michael Che, Ronny Chieng, Tom Segura and Wanda Sykes.
To purchase tickets, visit ticketmaster.com. The remaining tickets are priced from $99 to $299.
PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED; NO CELLPHONES ALLOWED
All attendees must provide proof of full coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination, as well as a photo ID. Organizers note full vaccination means the day of the comedy show is at least 14 days after an attendee’s final vaccine dose. Proof of vaccination must be directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination, and can be displayed on a smartphone, by presenting a physical copy or by using the New York State Excelsior Pass or NYC COVID Safe App (Android/iOS).
No cell phones, cameras or recording devices will be allowed at the show. Upon arrival, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Anyone caught with a cellphone in the venue will be immediately ejected.
All guests are encouraged to print their tickets in advance to ensure a smooth entry process.
