Details on Dolly Parton tickets for Philadelphia performance at Ellis released

Dolly Parton tickets go on sale this Tuesday at 9am and there are 3 ways to see her, as Buck Alman the General Manager and Director of The Ellis Theatre at Marty Stuarts Congress of Country Music announced today at 5pm!

There will be 2 shows at The Ellis Theatre, the first will be at 3pm with a second show at 7pm. The prices will range from $350 to $3,500 for front row seats. Prices will vary throughout the seating chart, which will be available to see on Tuesday when tickets go on sale.

The third way will be at The Parton Party located directly outside The Ellis Theatre, where there will be an enclosed area, with tents, food vendors, beverages and a 20×24 “Dollytron” video screen where for $35 you can join the party, and watch BOTH the 3pm and the 7pm show for one price. To purchase tickets on Tuesday fans can go to either the Congress of Country Music website or by using the links from their Facebook page as well.

Kicks 96 will be broadcasting the Parton Party LIVE from 1pm to 3pm, as well as celebrating Dolly Parton’s performances at The Ellis Theatre with a 9 to 5 celebration, nonstop back-to-back Dolly Parton songs during the Parton Party from 1pm to 3pm and again from 5pm to 7pm!

There will be two shows, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., on Aug. 26, 2023, which will support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and the Congress of Country Music. Tickets to the shows will range in price from $350 to $3,500.

The 500-seat theater can’t accommodate all the people who will likely want to come so the Congress has arranged for the next best thing for those who can’t secure tickets. Ticket prices for access to the Dolly Party and Dollytron viewing area will be $35. The outdoor event area will have food and beverage vendors as well.

The 500-seat Ellis Theater is set to welcome guests from all corners of the country, and the organizers have ensured a back-up server to handle ticket purchases smoothly. The outdoor event area, adjacent to the theater, will offer food and beverage vendors, providing a festival-like ambiance.

This exceptional event not only celebrates Dolly Parton’s extraordinary career but also supports the Congress of Country Music, dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of country music. The proceed ..

“Dolly has so very graciously agreed to TWO performances!! This is such an incredible gift and we are so very thankful to Dolly for adding a second performance. The first performance will be at 300pm with a second performance at 700pm. Both shows will be full performances. There will not be an opening act for either of the two performances.

“You have no idea how much we wish we could get EVERYONE inside our beautiful, historic theater. But, we only have 500 seats in our venue and we simply can’t!! And since we can’t, and we don’t want to see disappointed faces, we have the next best thing!! We will have Dolly, larger than life, on the DOLLYTRON!! We will be turning historic, downtown Philadelphia into one big DOLLY PARTY!!”

Ticket prices for access to the Dolly Party and Dollytron viewing area will be $35.

The outdoor event area will have food and beverage vendors to keep everyone fed and hydrated, the announcement said.

The viewing area will feature a video wall that will be broadcasting the live goings-on inside the Ellis “so that we can help everyone be a part of this incredible event,” the announcement said.

Access to the limited seating inside the Ellis Theater will range from $350 to $3500, according to the announcement, and “there are no plans for a formal Meet & Greet.”

“Tokyo Pop,” set in Japan, was a personal story for Kuzui, who is married to a Japanese film producer. The film tells the tale of Wendy, a backup singer from New York who travels to Japan during the height of American culture’s popularity. Overcoming the language barrier, she finds support from Hiro, a frustrated rock musician. They navigate a relationship and Wendy eventually joins his band. Hamilton, the lead actress, even wrote and performed the closing-credits song.
