Klay Thompson is back and the Warriors shooting guard made that absolutely clear with a massive dunk late in the first half against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night at Chase Center.
Klay got Cavs center Jarrett Allen on a switch, drove around him and made a loud statement with a dunk over two Cleveland defenders. After landing, Klay dropped an epic snarl as he ran back on defense.
His Warriors teammates and the fans in the building exploded with emotion.
Twitter erupted following Klay’s dunk.
Moments later, Klay hit his first 3-pointer of the game. He finished with seven points in nearly nine minutes of action in the first half against the Cavs.
