Local meteorologists are warning Massachusetts residents to keep a close eye on the weekend weather forecast, as a potentially significant coastal storm could develop and bring a range of impacts to the region.
The National Weather Service said “a lot of questions remain unresolved” about the developing storm, which the forecasters said may bring snow and wind to the region.
“Late Friday night and Saturday is the most likely window for a potentially high impact winter storm across southern New England,” the service said.
But the exact track and intensity of the storm remain uncertain, according to the service.
